ILLIT (아일릿) is a five-member South Korean girl group formed by BELIFT LAB, a subsidiary of HYBE Corporation. The group was created through the survival program "R U NEXT?", which aired in 2023. The final lineup includes YUNAH, MINJU, MOKA, WONHEE, and IROHA, representing a blend of Korean and Japanese members.
ILLIT officially debuted on March 25, 2024 with their first mini album titled “SUPER REAL ME”, featuring the catchy lead single “Magnetic”. Their music style combines youthful energy with dreamy, Y2K-inspired aesthetics and playful electropop sounds, appealing to both domestic and international fans.
The group's name, ILLIT, comes from the phrase “I will be it,” reflecting the members’ ambition to define their own path and identity rather than fit into predefined roles. With fresh visuals, strong stage presence, and a growing global fanbase, ILLIT is considered one of the most promising rookies in the fourth generation of K-pop.
